  1. Oy Vey!!! Another “Leadership Conference?” 😉

Lot’s of “lifting up” of famous “Names,” famous “Speakers,”
famous “Leaders,” and young wannabee “Famous Leaders.”
**And NOT one mention of Jesus.** 🙁 Please forgive us Lord.

    With “13,000 Young Leaders?”
Experiencing “the leadership experience of the year?”
Listening to “Famous” well known “Leadership Authorities?”
And “several innovative thinkers and practitioners?”
“Catalyst Lab's” (what’s that?) featuring “innovative thought leaders?” Huh?

Maybe I’m a little cranky today, BUT, this sounds ugly familiar.
This sounds like a bunch of “worldly, over the top, hype,” Mercy Lord…

    Love not the world…
For all that is in the world, **the lust of the flesh,** and **the lust of the eyes,**
and **the pride of life,** is not of the Father, but is of the world.
    1John 2:15-16

Didn’t Jesus, in Mat 23:10 KJV, tell His disciples “NOT” to call themselves
“master / leaders” for you have “ONE” “master / leader” the Christ.

    Didn’t Jesus say?…

I receive NOT honour from men…
…How can ye believe, which **receive honour one of another,**
and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?
    John 5:41-44

He that **speaketh of himself** seeketh his own glory…
    John 7:18

And I seek NOT mine own glory…
    John 8:50

Jesus answered, **If I honour myself, my honour is nothing:**
it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:
    John 8:54

Most people don’t start out wanting to “steal the glory” that belongs to Jesus.
They just don’t refuse the glory, when it comes. 😉

Seems “Catalyst” is giving glory and honor to man, and man is accepting it. Yes? 🙁
Where is the honor, and glory, for Jesus?
Jesus “must” increase. I “must” decrease.

If it lifts up Jesus, rejoice,
    it’s probably “Truth.”

If it lifts up man, beware,
    it’s probably “deception.”

Jesus… Our Lord and Our God…

You’re correct – never been to “Catalyst” the conference.
Only the website for “Catalyst.” Checked out a lot of pages.
Lot’s of info about famous “leaders” and importance of “leaders.”
But, had a real hard time finding the name of Jesus. 🙁

Seems Jesus has a different take on “leadership” for the body of Christ.

As always, Jesus has, and is, “The Answer.” If we can “Just do it” His way? 😉

    That’s why…

I have some question’s about the use of the word “leader.” 😉
The word “leader” seems like a “high place.” Yes?
Jesus always took and recommended the “low place.” Yes?

Jesus humbled Himself, made himself of NO reputation,
and took on the form of a “servant.” Php 2:7-8

How do “you” reconcile the use of the word “leader”
when “Jesus” told **His disciples** NOT to be called “leader?”

Jesus in Mat 23:10 KJV, told **His disciples** “NOT” to call
    themselves “Master / Leaders,”
for you have “ONE” “Master / Leader” “The Christ.”

    King James Version –
    Neither be ye called masters:
for one is your Master, even Christ.

    The Interlinear Bible –
    Nor be called leaders,
for one is your leader the Christ.

    Phillips Modern English –
you must not let people call you leaders,
you have only one leader, Christ.

    Today's English Version –
nor should you be called leader.
your one and only leader is the Messiah.

Jesus told **His disciples** not to be called “leaders” and none did.

Rom 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ,
Php 1:1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ,
Col 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ,
Tit 1:1 Paul, a servant of God,
Jas 1:1 James, a servant of God
    2Pe 1:1 Simon Peter, a servant

**His Disciples** all called themselves “servants.”
None called themselves "leaders." None? None.
    None called themselves "servant-leader." None.

If Jesus instructed **His Disciples** NOT to call themselves “leaders”
and someone calls them self a “Leader”
or thinks they are a “Leader;”

Are they **His Disciple? Are they a “Disciple of Christ?”

Why isn’t what Jesus said important? 😉

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:
them also I must bring, and they shall **hear my voice;**
and there shall be “ONE” fold, and “ONE” shepherd.
    John 10:16

One Fold – One Shepherd – One Voice.
    If Not Now, When?

Be blessed in your search for truth… Jesus.
