A Glimpse Into the Worship at My Campus

We have come light years over the last two years in terms of our worship and total Sunday morning experience. A big reason is because I did a nation-wide search and hired a worship pastor named Matt Rector. Matt is extremely gifted. I encourage you to keep up with him on his blog HERE. Here he is yesterday leading “I Surrender” by Hillsong. It was a powerful moment in our service.

Our God is mighty to save! I’m still celebrating and rejoicing. Forest Park baptized 27 people at the river yesterday afternoon. 12 were from the Carthage Campus (my campus). That makes 62 from Carthage this year, which is a new record for us as a campus (beating our record from last year). Wow. God is good! Keep in mind we are in a small town of 15,000 people. God is doing great things in our midst and we give Him praise. Why do we keep track of numbers? As Perry Noble often says: “Every number has a name. Every name has a story. Every story matters to God.” #ILoveMyChurch
